THAWING INSTRUCTIONS

Option 1

Place unopened package in refrigerator & allow to thaw for 24 hours prior to cooking. Cut pouch open with scissors below perforation & crumble chili concentrate into saucepan.

Option 2

Place unopened chili pouch in a bowl of warm water for approx 30 minutes. Cut pouch open with scissors below perforation & crumble concentrate into saucepan.

Option 3

Quick Thaw Method. Place unopened chili pouch in a saucepan & cover with water. Bring water to a boil & let boil uncovered for approx.12 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat, drain water, carefully cut pouch open with scissors below perforation & chili will easily slide out of pouch into saucepan. Use caution. Chili will be hot. 

TO COOK

After chili concentrate is in saucepan, add 1 cup of water & stir until combined. Simmer until heated. Add additional water, tomato sauce, chili beans, etc. to taste.
